Summer INTERNSHIP 2025

The CAPEX Design Internship Program is your chance to gain real-world experience, grow professionally, and make a difference in your city. Join a team of industry leaders and public agencies—including Jacobs, Ardurra, Kuniklo Corporation, Trace Consulting, Valley Metro, and the City of Phoenix—working together on the Capitol Extension Light Rail Project.

This paid, full-time internship is open to rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students in engineering, public policy, communications, planning, data, or related fields. You’ll earn $21/hour, build your resume, and contribute to projects that shape Phoenix’s future—while receiving mentorship, career development, and a chance to showcase your work.
